The home app

For residents

Approvals and requests without chasing the manager.

The flat is the account

The flat is the account. Invite family onto the same unit without sharing a password. Pre-approve a guest, let the cab through, and raise a complaint the desk already has — from the phone, not from a group that never scrolls back to last Tuesday.

You do not get a committee login. You do not see the roster. You see the home you live in: who else is on the unit, which visitor is at the boom, and whether the leak you reported on Monday still has an owner.

  • Family on the unit, with their own login.
  • A visitor pass the gate can verify — not a name shouted over the intercom.
  • Complaints that keep the same number at the desk and on the phone.

How a guest gets to the door

The intercom and the group chat both fail the same way: the guard has a name, and nobody can prove who said yes. GateBee writes a pass against the unit, and the person at the boom checks that pass.

  1. Someone on the unit pre-approves the guest, or approves when the gate asks.
  2. The staff app shows the pass against the flat — cab, delivery, or a person expected for dinner.
  3. The guard who opened the barrier is stored on the row. If there is a dispute in the morning, the desk has a name and a time.

Daily help is not a guest you invent every morning. Regular workers still hit the same log; they are just not modelled as society staff.

Owners, tenants, and family

The desk records occupancy. The app lives on top of that record. If you are the owner, you invite family onto the unit. If you are the tenant, you live on the occupancy the society has entered — you do not inherit the previous family's guest list, and you should not need the owner's OTP to let a plumber in.

  • Owner — holds the unit, invites family, and remains on the record when a tenant moves in.
  • Tenant — current occupancy. Approvals follow who the society has marked as living there now.
  • Family — own login, same unit. Nobody should borrow the secretary's phone to add a spouse.

A villa and a floored tower use the same rule. The home is still the account.

Complaints without the group

A leak posted at 11pm in a two-hundred-person group is not a ticket. It is a broadcast the secretary cannot search on Wednesday.

Raise it on the unit. It lands at the desk with the same number. The desk assigns a trade or a named person. You see the status without calling the manager twice, and closing it on one side closes it on the other.

That is the point of one tenant: the phone and the desk are not two copies that drift apart after the AGM.

Invite family members to the same flat without sharing a password.

Visitors you actually approve

A pass the gate can verify, not a name shouted over the intercom.

Complaints that stay put

Raise, track and close from the phone. The desk sees the same ticket.

Walk the desk on your own society

Bring the registration number and a rough unit count. We will show the property tree, a shift, and the gate flow — not a generic slide deck.
